Dr. Fetter says he isn’t trying to upset Stephanie but if she is certain about her blood type, then given Eric’s blood type they could not have produced a child with Ridge’s blood type. Stephanie is insulted when the doctor surmises that there is someone else who could be Ridge’s father, but he assures Stephanie that he will never speak a word this to anyone. Massimo watches the exchange and overhears part of the conversation between Stephanie and the doctor, but is unable to make a clear assessment of the situation. When Massimo mentions he saw Stephanie with the doctor she goes berserk and throws him out of the room, leaving Massimo even more confused. Eric worries that Ridge may have brain damage, but his fears are unfounded as a weak but healthy Ridge gains consciousness. Tony thinks Massimo must be a fool for passing up the chance to spend time with Sally so he can be by Stephanie’s side.
