BANARAS TRAVEL VLOG- Part 01 | Feb' 22 || Wall Paintings & Ganga Aarti at Dasashwamedh Ghat

This is probably my 6th or 7th trip to Varanasi/ Banaras, but this time I challenged myself to cover the entire trip using a single prime lens- the Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G lens. I just wanted to travel light and carry the simplest photography setup available with me. So I coupled up my Nikon D7500 with the Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G lens.

I actually loved the simplicity and effectiveness of this setup (single prime lens setup) in this genre of street or documentary photography. I just wish I was using a 24mm lens on my crop sensor body or a full frame body with my 35mm lens. But nevertheless, I think my days of carrying a camera bag with 3-4 lenses are now gone for good.
