Prime Minister Anthony Albanese joined AFL legend and Indigenous rights activist Michael Long on the long walk for the Voice and became “a bit emotional about it all,” according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
"He's run on the field alright - but October 15 looks like being a grim day for the PM if the polls are anything to go by," Mr Clennell said.
Mr Long completed his on-foot journey 20 days after setting off from Melbourne Town Hall on August 27 to campaign for an Indigenous Voice to Parliament.
Australians will vote in the Voice referendum in October.
Support for the Voice continues to take a dive in the polls as a recent survey by Resolve Strategic revealed the No vote grew in the last month.
