This radio is from the Lancashire batch of radios I bought & therefore is to be sold on Ebay.
I decided to optimise this c1999 set for 40 UK channels as this makes a vast difference to performance. As with many 80-channel sets, optimisation of the receiver across all channels is a compromise & this compromise is demonstrated in this video. However, the full 4W output remains on all 80 channels as far as transmit goes. This radio came in doing 2W & we discover why this was happening & corrected it in this video.
