Gov. Brian Kemp will be speaking in a press conference at 10:45 a.m. ET on Friday morning. According to a release, he will be joined by his wife, the first lady Marty Kemp, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, Georgia House Peaker Jon Burns and Georgia Emergency Management Agency Director Chris Stallings.

Several communities south of Atlanta - among them LaGrange, Griffin and McDonough - are picking up the pieces Friday morning after tornadoes swept through the south metro a day prior.
