(20 Jun 2016) England and Slovakia's fans have begun filling the streets and squares of the French city of Saint-Etienne, ahead of their third and final group game of the the Euro 2016 football championship.
England fans danced and sang alongside Slovakia supporters, and the atmosphere was friendly amid a high security presence following the violence marred England's first match in Marseille against Russia.
More than 1,100 police officers have been deployed in the Saint-Etienne area and 51 soldiers will be mobilised to guarantee security around England's match with Slovakia.
Some 839 privately-hired security agents are also helping to monitor fans.
Meanwhile, Welsh and Russian fans started gathering in the ancient centre of Toulouse, a few hours ahead of their last crucial match of Group B in the qualifying round.
Fans from both countries said the mood was good and that they were just hoping for a win.
England heads into the Group B finale first place with four points.
Wales and Slovakia are a point behind, while Russia is bottom with a single point.
All four teams can qualify for the knockout stages of Euro 2016.
