Our first Listening club with conductor, composer, and educator Peter Fender on Franz Schubert’s delightful Octet in F major, D. 803. During the class, Peter delved into the first, fourth, and sixth movements of this captivating piece, written for clarinet, bassoon, French horn, string quartet, and double bass.

Peter played his favorite recordings, shared his perspectives on Schubert’s masterwork, and highlighted key sections from the written score and multiple recordings!
