Ease your mind is a siren song from one's vices to the inflicted. It was initially inspired on a day I was feeling particularly tantalized by my vices. I was curious about the dichotomy of being irrationally drawn to self harm despite the consequences. Something that causes you pain somehow repeatedly tricks you with promises of salvation and ease to act against your own best interest. The narrative of the song became much more broad as I explored the idea of giving a voice to a vice.
