Come for a bike ride with me around Brissie. This is my normal route along Riverside Drive, through South Bank, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, over the Story Bridge and back home through the CityLink Bikeway and Botanical Gardens. It used to be my _long ride_ but I've gotten fitter so now it's my _normal_ one.

I took a ride recently out to Wamuran and tried to vlog it on the Sony ZV-1, but the stabilisation wasn't great and I'm finding I need to do a lot of work to edit it. So I did something I've been meaning to do for a while and upgraded my GoPro from a 7 to a HERO11 💸

It's pretty great. I'm very impressed with the daytime shots. Some of the darker ones are a bit flaky as you can see toward the end, but overall this is exactly what I was after and I think it's gonna make a huge difference for my vlogues. Stay ProTuned.

Video shot in 5k, 10 bit colour, and slightly adjusted to deepen the blacks. Applied a very light colour grade where things looked funky. Otherwise this is straight out of the camera.
