The personnel of Ussuriysk separate guards unit with airborne forces perform tasks in the NVO zone south of Artemovsk. The automatic "Vasilek" 82 mm mortars inflicts fire damage on the enemy with rate of four mines. One mortar is capable of destroying the enemy in a section of terrain up to 600 meters. Mortarmen use the "roaming gun" tactic, according to which the firing position after firing is constantly changing in order to avoid unnecessary losses in return fire from the APU.
