James Bullard, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, spoke Thursday at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce Coffee Hour. Dr. Bullard discussed quantitative easing, global inflation and commodity standards during the presentation, sponsored by WKU and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, one of 12 regional Reserve banks that, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., comprise the nation's central bank. The Louisville branch, chaired by WKU President Gary Ransdell, met Thursday morning at WKU.
