Despite the BJP pulling out its heavy artillery may have failed to stop the Aam Admi Party (AAP). According to the aggregation of the exit poll, Arvind Kejriwal's party is being predicted to walk away with the top honours in the Delhi Assembly elections and that too with a comfortable margin. Yogendra Yadav, Leader, Aam Admi Party said, "My own sense continues to be that the Aam Admi Party should comfortably get a two thirds majority which is what was evident. I have been travelling through the day and the city has made up its mind. It appeared to be a clear wave election." At least four exit polls putting the AAP way ahead of the BJP, signalling that Delhi may have made up its mind to give a new political party a chance that it's willing to try a new type of politics. Sambit Patra, Spokesperson, BJP said, "In democracy opposition is essential. What if they become opposition? We are not fearful of any Opposition till the time we are right we are right. We are performing. We are in the right direction. We are not fearful of anyone take my word." And already the BJP seems to have seen the writing on the wall and is preparing for a possible setback. Kiran Bedi, BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate said, "I will take full responsibility. My party put its trust in me, gave me so much love and respect. I will take full responsibility." But if the AAP actually triumphs on coming Tuesday, Arvind Kejriwal's party may well herald the arrival of a new force in Indian politics, a force that could benefit from Congress decline opening up new political possibilities.
