Prime Minister Peter O'Neill was in Lae and was given a tour of the Angau hospital and the Lae roads.
O'Neill made recommendations that the roads and the hospital need urgent repairs and work must begin as soon as possible.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the asylum center arrangements between Australia and PNG but he said work should not wait for the money to arrive.
