Banks should not be allowed to close customers’ accounts because of their views, Rishi Sunak has said.
The Prime Minister said the right to free speech had to be respected “and that should not be an excuse to close anyone’s account”.
TalkTV’s Mike Graham and Isabel Oakeshott hit out at “corporate virtue signalling” from banks.
“If you don’t tick those boxes you can be declined lending services. This stuff is all over our corporations and has a very real impact on people’s lives!”
