Today I show you the newest addition to the lounge. A gorgeous adult female Poecilotheria regalis, The Indian Ornamental Tarantula.
A stunning arboreal Tarantula hailing from Southern Indian.
All tarantulas within this genera are highly venomous. Albeit non lethal they definitely will give you a very bad day or potentially week should you get bitten. The are extremely fast and possibly defensive tarantulas that are best left alone and enjoyed in a carefully thought out display vivarium.
I discuss where the inspiration came from for this build we will be doing to house this beautiful girl. If done properly it will allow for both the tarantula to live out her life in a comfortable and safe environment as well as allow me the keeper to not only enjoy but also monitor and maintain her environment safely.
