A black 2014 Toyota Camry wanted in connection with a murder/kidnapping investigation out of Montebello, California was located by El Cajon Police utilizing a Low-Jack tracking system. The driver, Daniel Perez, led officers on a 20-minute pursuit. After the chase, a SWAT standoff took place on a San Diego freeway transition ramp. Perez's four sons had to be rescued from the car. El Cajon P.D. was assisted by the California Highway Patrol and San Diego County Sheriff's Department its ASTREA helicopter support unit.
