As my dad and I pull into the Amtrak Auto Train terminal in Lorton Virginia we catch a Silver Service train or Crecent with P42DCs #133 and #51 going to New York Penn Station. We then pull into the Amtrak Auto Train terminal where we find that P42DCs #41 and #118 will be leading our train to Florida. After the workers take the car and put it in one of the autoracks we then board the train. After looking at a few of the autoracks I wanted to take a look right at the locomotive. I asked the attendant if it was ok and she said yes so then I went and looked at #118 before we left the station. Then as we are pulling out I am on the lower level in the lounge car because I was playing chess with a friend. As we first pull out we see some of the area in Lorton and some other parts of Virginia as we start our trip to Sanford Florida. As we pick up speed we fly by I believe the Quantico Virginia station we see the Northbound Amtrak Carolinian going to New York Penn Station. We then ride by an old airfield and ride over a few bridges as we continue to Florida. Enjoy!
