In this second video from my trip to Fort William earlier in the month we see Ian Riley's LMS Class Five, or Black Five to most 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier working the Jacobite steam service between Fort William and Mallaig, operated by the West Coast Railway Company.
The first shot was filmed in the sunny weather on the 13th August, the rest were filmed on the extremely wet 14th and 15th August.
Shots in Order:
1)Arriving at Fort William,
2)Prior to departure,
3)Neptune's Steps,
4)Climbing away from Glennfinnan,
5)A campavan makes a commendable effort to ruin the shot,
6)Crossing Beasdale Viaduct,
7)Morar road crossing.
All pictures included were taken by my Mum or Dad.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed filming it!
PS - The Neptune's shot isn't great as it came quicker than expected and a light sprint from the very top of the stairs and crossing of the loch was needed to get into my planned position, hence no time to raise the tripod!
Daniel.
