Try this easy and delicious chocolate creme brûlée! The incredibly smooth and creamy chocolate filling and a thin layer of crispy caramel create beautiful textures and flavors together. 📌 Ingredients to make chocolate creme brûlée
for 4 5-inch (12 cm) ramekins
• Dark chocolate: 127 g | 4.5 oz (3/4 US cup *Cut into the size of chocolate chips)
• Heavy cream: 240 g | 8.5 oz (1 US cup)
• Whole milk: 240 g | 8.5 oz (1 US cup)
• Vanilla beans: 1/2 pod
• Egg yolk: 80 g | 2.8 oz (about 5 eggs)
• Granulated sugar: 30 g | 1 oz (2.5 Tbsp)
• Granulated sugar for caramel on top: 1 1/2 - 3/4 tsp for each 5-inch (12 cm) ramekin.
Bake at 300ºF (149ºC) for 20 - 25 minutes until it giggles like jello or custard pudding.
* Adjust the time and temperature accordingly, depending on the oven, the size of the ramekins, the thickness, etc.
