🚨If you believe your strata committee is breaking the law, here’s one question to ask: is the strata manager part of the problem?
I’ve worked with many owners in communities where the source of serious problems was poor (or non-existent) advice and guidance from the engaged strata manager.
Once a new manager was appointed (who could simply be a different person within the same company), the problems ✨magically ✨ resolved.
To be clear, I’m not talking about communities where owners have unreasonable expectations, or expect their manager to provide additional services for free or at low cost.
I’m talking about the really troubled communities where:
❌ regular meetings are not held
❌ there is no transparency of decision making
❌ managers are providing patently WRONG advice to owners and committees.
👆I see these situations far too often.
Don’t put up with poor service. You deserve better.
