In today's video, we're making tequila. Some would consider this making agave spirit since this isn't made in Mexico, but we're not bound by the same regulations professional distillers are, so darn it, we're sticking with tequila.
We added honey and honey malt to our tequila to give it a unique sweetness. This recipe turned out awesome! Next week, we'll show the tequila recipe being distilled. Learn how to make alcohol of all types on our channel.
This recipe consists of:
9 LB . of clover honey
8 LB. of premium blue weber agave syrup
5 LB. of honey malt, milled.
Water until at 5-6.5 gallons of volume
One packet of Still Spirit Pure yeast or the yeast/nutrient of your choice
