You read it correctly, the anticipated follow up update of 1.0 on shellshock live dropped today as promised by kChamp himself on March 31, 2023 !
Not only that but it brought a lot of new content including the chance to play with him personally for a few rounds. I had noticed I got a greyed out achievement while playing with my friends prior and then quickly signed out of steam and back into my account to download the fresh new update.
I must've beaten the crow as not many were on when I noticed kChamp on the main menu and making a lobby shortly after.
I was only planning on staying a few game and then agreed to leave to provide the opportunity for many others. I'm glad many of my friends got the chance to meet and play with him in-game.
Once again thank you for providing this wonderful update although it might not have been what everyone wanted. However I like the fact we have something new to play around with.
