After a stormy Thursday night and Friday morning, things are shaping up to be absolutely gorgeous in the Charlotte metro this weekend. On this episode of #WakeUpCLT To Go, WCNC Charlotte forecaster Larry Sprinkle will have your complete weekend forecast for the region, which will see warm temperatures but finally a break from the oppressive humidity.
Friday will start rainy as showers move east toward the Carolina coast. By mid-afternoon, skies will be clearing in the Charlotte region and afternoon highs will climb into the mid-80s. Overnight lows will be in the lower 60s and upper 50s across North Carolina and South Carolina.
Saturday and Sunday will see the most comfortable weather since early summer. High temperatures will only be in the mid-80s and the humidity will be lower thanks to a significant drop in dew point. Both weekend nights will be pleasant with lows in the 60s and even some upper 50s northwest of Charlotte -- Those areas include the foothills and mountains of western North Carolina. #Weather #Forecast
