Procedural Requirements for Budget Vote
Members are requested to note that when considering Agenda Items 5 (a) – (e) that in accordance with the Local Authorities (Standing Orders) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2014, there is a requirement on all local authorities to record and maintain a record within the minutes of the proceedings of any budget decision making meeting the names of the persons who cast a vote for the decision or against the decision or who abstained from voting.
In accordance with the duty contained within the Regulations, a Card Vote shall therefore be conducted as prescribed within Standing Orders 24 (ii) to (iv) of the City Council Constitution.

5. City Council Budget 2015/16 - 2016/17, Medium Term Financial Strategy 2015/16 - 2016/17, Capital Programme 2015/16 - 2019/20 & Statutory Calculations to determine the Council Tax for 2015/16
To consider the recommendation of the Mayor and Cabinet in respect of Agenda Items 5 (a) to (d), that approval be granted for –
(a) Capital Programme 2015/16 to 2019/20;
(b) City Council General Fund Budget 2014/2015 to 2016/2017;
(c) Medium Term Financial Strategy 2014/2015 to 2016/2017; and
(d) Statutory Calculations to determine the Council Tax for 2015/16.
