On June 2, 2024 I solo hiked to Finch Lake in the Wild Basin of Rocky Mountain National Park. The road is open now through the Wild Basin. This is a steep hike and mostly through the forest with views along the way. The snowmelt has finally taken off with running creeks through some areas of the trail. It was a beautiful day and a fantastic hike. 9 miles 1984 feet of elevation gain.
