The Bharat Group is a diversified, Malaysian conglomerate with special focus on tea. The company was founded by an Indian immigrant, Shuparshad Bansal Agarwal, and began life in 1933 in the scenic Cameron Highlands.
The BOH Tea Plantation, which is located at Cameron HighlandsMalaysia, is also the largest tea plantation in Malaysia. BOH Plantations was founded in 1929 by J. A. Russell, a British-born British-educated businessman during the British colonial era in Malaya.
