The STEMFest Net Zero event took place during the first week of July 2022 and was spread over three days, showcasing the range of businesses, careers and job roles available in our region in this sector now and in the future.
Businesses were invited to deliver fun, interactive and hands on sessions relating to their industry, specifically in response to Climate Change and their plans to reach Net Zero by 2030. Over 3000 young people from the regions schools were invited to attend the hands-on event where they met and engaged with a number of North East industries working in this sector.
