In this video, I show you how I prime miniatures with a paint brush. I prefer using brush on primer when the model is small, or when spraying isn't possible or necessary.
Using a brush on primer, like Vallejo Surface Primer, is great for quickly starting a project. With a soft "mop" brush, like cosmetic brushes, you can cover large areas without making a mess. Using a dabbing motion with short brushstrokes helps prevent primer from pooling and forming bubbles, as well as enures the primer gets into every nook and cranny.
