One of the cleverest primate species you can find in Costa Rica is the white-faced capuchin.
White-faced capuchins are an omnivorous primate species. They’ll eat anything and everything, including plants, insects, and nuts. They’ve even been observed to prey on lizards and small birds. Sharp teeth, intelligent tool-making, and opposable thumbs are what help these monkeys get food from almost anywhere.
Let’s learn a little bit more about these animals while observing them in the wild. If you want to learn more about wildlife in Costa Rica or anywhere else in the world, follow me for more.
