Maldives issues visit visa on arrival for almost all nationalities and countries, but you need certain documents or requirements to be fulfilled before arriving to Maldives and to get the visa on arrival easily.

1 . you must have confirmed return tickets itinerary
2 . you must have confirmed booking of the hotel or resort where you are planning to stay for the complete duration with respect to your itinerary. If you are on a budget trip then try to book the hotel or resort which is near to Airport, otherwise airport to your hotel / resort can cost you a handsome amount of money. If you are with family then this amount may hurt you a lot, if you are alone you might don't care.
3 . you must have at least one thousand US Dollars per head with you, it can be asked by immigration officer and they don't accept credit card in this regard.
Maldives accepts two currency mainly which are Maldivian Rufia and US Dollar, So, it is always better and recommended to keep enough US dollar in cash with you.
4 . you must be vaccinated with both COVID-19 doses and you must keep the original certificate as a proof with you, if you have taken only one dose then you have to stay in allocated resorts only and these resorts are too costly to stay. so be careful.
5 . you must have PCR test report with you.
6 . you must fill IMUGA form before entering to passport counter at Maldives airport. It is always recommended to fill the form before leaving your home country because at Maldives airport the internet is very slow and it takes too much time if you are travelling with your family.
