Crossrail will be delayed until October 2020 at the earliest to iron out issues with the testing and delivery of infrastructure. The east-west route, officially called the Elizabeth Line, will run between Reading and Shenfield in Essex and had been due to open in December 2018. Crossrail said testing of the trains and signalling was "progressing well". So what's causing the delay? Our Transport Correspondent, Tom Edwards, has been finding out.
