Hosted by Brazil 🇧🇷, and co-sponsored by Peru 🇵🇪, Angola 🇦🇴, and Costa Rica 🇨🇷, alongside 16 civil society organisations—including the Global Initiative to End Wildlife Crime—this event highlighted the essential role of international cooperation in combating wildlife crime.
The event discussed the urgent need to strengthen international collaboration and ways to enhance the global legal framework to effectively prevent and combat wildlife trafficking.
