Ingredients:
400g of Sausage Meat
375g of Puff Pastry
1 Egg
Plain Flour to dust on board
Preheat over to 180 degrees for a fan over or 200 for a conventional.
1. Unroll the pastry onto a board and cut in half lengthways.
2. Place half the sausage meat onto each piece of pastry in a sausage shape leaving a 1.5cm gap between the edge and meat.
3. Beat an egg and using a pastry brush, brush it along the edges to help seal the pastry when you fold it over.
4. Fold the pastry over and use a fork to press & seal edges.
5. Brush egg wash over the outside of the sausage rolls to make sure they look golden and yummy when baked!
6. Cut into desired size and score the top with the desired pattern.
7. Place into oven and bake for between 20-25 mins checking them regularly to check if they are done.
8. Enjoy!
