When you keep your ice lolly outside the fridge and forget to eat, it gets melted. Similarly, when you keep butter outside the fridge on a hot summer day, it gets melted. Have you ever wondered why things get melted? 

While making tea or coffee, you boil water first. The bubbles are seen on the surface while boiling. What is actually boiling? 

Melting is the process by which a solid turns into a liquid. Example: Melting of ice. Boiling is the process by which a liquid turns into a vapor. Example: Boiling of water.
