How do you find the right voice for your brand. Start with the tone and language you want to use to deliver the promise of your brand experience. Define what vocabulary best describes your brand. Then, find your story.
A great example of a brand that has done this is Dollar Shave Club. They've decided on a humorous tone to deliver their brand message. Their CEO had improv comedy training. Therefore, he is the perfect spokesperson to communicate their brand using the tone and vocabulary Dollar Shave Club has decided upon. Their video marketing materials line up exactly with the brand voice they've selected.
