The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets has advised the Uganda National Roads Authority to pay contractors on time to avoid heavy operational costs. Speaking to NTV in Eastern Uganda, the Acting Executive Director of PPDA, Benson Turamye noted that UNRA had taken three months without paying three certificates for the contractor of the 104km Busita-Lumino-Busia-Majanji road.
