Waterproof, dropproof, dirtproof, snowproof—the FRE provides excellent all around protection for your iPhone XR. It also has a pleasant amount of grip in your hand and has a solid, dependable feel. The fact that it comes with a built in screen protector makes it a perfect choice for the beach, where abrasive sand can do nasty things to unprotected screens. And of course all its port openings are protected against sand (and dirt and water) as well. The FRE provides 6.6 ft of drop protection, and will allow your iPhone to be safely submerged up to a 6.6 ft depth for one hour, doubling the built in iPhone XR water resistance of 3.3 ft for 30 minutes. It is also compatible with wireless charging, and comes with a one year warranty. Audio quality is perfectly acceptable with this case, both on speaker phone and ear speaker mode, and the screen protector performs adequately as well. The user experience with the built in screen protector is good, especially considering the fact that this is a plastic, non adhesive screen protector. Responsiveness is very good, with no issues in typing or texting, and the screen protector has a nice smooth feeling underneath the fingertips. Optical clarity is not quite as good as your native iPhone screen or a good quality tempered glass screen protector, but it is ok. And the fact that the screen protector is made of plastic means that fingerprints will accumulate pretty easily. There is also a certain degree of rainbowing present with the screen protector, which is unfortunate.
