If you are deploying Raspberry Pi's into remote locations, you'll want to be able to SSH into them from time to time. The video shows how to use the Ngrok service in conjunction with some programming from OhioIoT to enable you to securely talk to your Pi's anywhere in the world.
This Part 1 video explains in general terms how the service was implemented. I used MQTT for communications and NodeJS/JavaScript for programming. Even if you are using different technologies, the general concepts for how I used this service might help you get your project going as well.
If you are a JavaScript programmer with a Mosquitto broker in the cloud, then pulling down the provided repo should work out of the box.
