This is a short video of a few of the problems I've had with my Mk8 Golf R since I've had it. I'm sure I've missed a few. It seems to pop up new faults on a weekly basis. I have booked it in for a check over with VW tomorrow, to see if they have any fixes. It all seems to be software issues to me. I think they let the VW apprentices loose on the car, and then told them they weren't getting paid before they finished it. If I think of any other faults I'll add them to this description.

Other faults:
I have my keyless entry turned off for security. but sometimes I have not been able to open or lock the car with the fob despite being next to it. But it will work if I press the opposing action again 1st. Ie- it won't open, so I press the lock button again, and then press the unlock and it works. This has happened several times.
Update- 13/09/21
Just back from VW after the update. They had my list of faults that I had sent them, and had highlighted quite a few which the said should be solved by the update. Including the kph\mph scenario. So I left the car with them for the day and picked it up about an hour ago. It's pretty much a 30 all the way home, so I went on a stretch of motorway where I know it always seems to read 110 and sets the Speedo at 68mph. Due to traffic however, the entry speed was set for 40 on led boards. The car read the 40, and set the speed at.....25! Then it read a national speed limit sign on the slip road off, and dynamic display read 110, but ACC stayed at 25mph. So basically the software has not solved this problem. I checked the version numbers, and they are all exactly the same as they were in my above video. So I have no idea what's actually been updated or what it's cured yet....if anything. Time will tell with the other random faults though.
