My Surly Cross Check Parts Introduction (First build). I plan to have fun with this Surly bike. This is my first Surly and I want to transform it whenever the wind tells me to. In this first build, I am shooting for a casual chill upright position type of ride. I will eventually turn it into a cyclocross racer so drop bars a custom-made lightweight wheelsets. Obviously a gravel bike, I guess that's the latest marketing gimmick the big wigs came up with. Whatever I"m down.

This is personalized hands on bicycle mechanic training classes taught in a small setting meant for the beginner or advanced person. Typically one on one, a maximum of three persons occasionally. You are welcome to bring your bike to class to diagnose, repair or build. All tools and materials (including shop bikes) are provided to you.
