This year, BVLGARI introduced a pair of new timepieces in the Octo Finissimo in steel with a tone-on-tone silvered dial and the Octo Finissimo GMT in steel with a blue dial that cast its best-known variants in a new, sporty design. With 100 meters of water resistance and a screw-down crown, these two fresh takes on the Octo Finissimo identity offer new everyday wear appeal for the company's hero piece.

A few HODINKEE Shop team members were able to take the watches for a test drive recently, plus we grabbed BVLGARI's original GPHG-winning chronograph, the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT in titanium, for a quick on-the-wrist comparison.
