Kaliyuva Mane ("Home for Learning") is an "out-of-the-box" school for "out-of-system" and rural underprivileged children, with "School for children", rather than "children for school", as its working philosophy. It has developed several innovative all-round educational concepts such as "Kids' Bank" and "Kids' Court", whose success is fascinatingly illustrated by the case-studies of its students. Ananth Kumar is a social activist and the trustee of 'Divya Deepa Charitable Trust'. His brainchild 'Kaliyuva Mane' is school for 'out of system' children in Mysore. An engineer by qualification, he has worked for 10 years in different organizations before finding his calling. Driven by a strong desire to serve, he is helping some of the less fortunate realize their dreams, one at a time.
