Cheap Handmade PVC Recurve Bow Project. This PVC Bow Only Cost $4.00!!
This is a great DIY Archery project you can do with only one tool and little time.
If you have a bug out bag that has essentials. But its good to know how to improvise with these items you need for the project is a 4-5 ft piece of PVC pipe, paracord, a 2-3 foot piece for wood to flatten the PVC pipe, something to make the curve (I used a small pot 5" diameter ), heat gun (I used the stove), and a hacksaw (cut PVC to length and to make notch the PVC for the paracord )
So really you should have most of these around the house so they will be free and the only thing you might need is the PVC and paracord. So for this PVC recurve bow project turns out to be $4.00 worth. This is not as powerful as a compound bow but maybe a longbow. But really its something you can have fun in the back yard if your being careful to keep up your archery skills. And in a pinch i'm sure it can take down small game if you really needed to.
