We spent a day in Florence while staying in Bologna, which quite a nice trip by train (although we did find the tickets expensive). We did not get in in most monuments because it was our second time visiting the city but here some of the places you will see in the video:
* Duomo & Baptistery
* Mercato Central - where we had lunch, pizza and focaccia
* Piazza della Signoria - with the Palazzo Vechio and la Loggia dei Lanzi
* Piazzale degli Uffizi
* Ponte Vecchio
* Piazzale Michelangelo - famous for its great views over Florence
* Santa Maria Novella - the basilica has some of my favourite frescoes in Italy - a must visit I would say
For gelatos:
* Grom - I really like their pistachio ice cream and we wanted to repeat the visit from the first time we were in 2013.
* Antica Gelateria Fiorentina - this was a new discover, great ice cream place.
