This psalm, too, begins with a rousing call to sing G-d’s praises. The psalm speaks of the Messianic Era, when the extraordinary salvation that G-d will have brought will call for a new kind of praise, a “new song.” G-d’s glory will be seen by all. The revelation of G-d’s majesty and power in those future days will cause all mankind to worship G-d with a sense of holiness. The whole of Nature will join in a chorus of praises to G-d as well.
