A bhajan is a form of Hindu devotional song. A Bhajan has no lyrics, but the singer imparts his or her own thoughts and emotions into the music, which is based on ragas. It is prefixed and followed by a prayer to the almighty god or goddess. The Bhajan singer sings from his/her heart and tries to connect with god.
