At Easter, filmmaker Daniel Elkan interviewed skiers in La Plagne (found at random on the slopes) to find out what they think about the resort. This film was created from those interviews. It was very clear that skiers love La Plagne and that they were enjoying some fantastic late-season skiing.
“I think Easter is a good time to go out since it’s got longer days; the snow’s very easy to ski on; and…it’s just fun!”
“The scale of the mountains, the variety of the landscape and ski-in/ski-out makes life so easy: just get up in the morning, straight on the lift and straight on the slopes.”
“The snow’s fantastic, it’s really nice. The children can learn so easily, it’s warm, they can play; so they can just keep going all day long. It’s lovely.”
“When you ski with the children, they can be total beginners the first day and in two or three days you can ski with them and you have a lot of different runs to do.”
“I like skiing in La Plagne because it’s really nice to be with the ski teachers. Cos they stick together with you.”
“Wherever you are in La Plagne it doesn’t make any difference – there are so many ski lifts, gondolas and chairs going off in every direction. How can you beat this?”
“To have an environment like this, where we’ve go the whole mountain to ourselves - there’s snow everywhere! I’m lost for words…I’m coming up here and I’m like – wow!”
