66731 ‘Captain Tom Moore - A True British Inspiration’ in it’s special Thank You NHS livery speeds through on a container train.
This locomotive was formerly named interhubGB, but on the morning of Thursday 30th April 2020, it was renamed to Captain Tom Moore - A True British Inspiration to coincide with Captain Tom Moore’s 100th birthday. In early April 2020 before his 100th birthday, Captain Tom Moore at the age of 99 walked 100 lengths of his garden to fundraise for NHS Charities Together at a time when the UK was in lockdown and when the NHS was under extreme pressure during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. On Wednesday 17th July 2020, Captain Tom Moore was knighted by HM Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle to become Captain Sir Tom Moore. Sadly, Captain Sir Tom Moore on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 due to pneumonia and being tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bedford Hospital at the age of 100.
