Unchained Melody was released about 1955 and was recorded by a bunch of folks, most of them charting well in the U.S and England. This 1955 version by Al Hibbler made #3 on the Billboard Charts for that year. Not quite as powerful as the 1965 Righteous Brothers version, but still pretty good and historically significant.
