If your feet are wet, wear your life jacket. 13 years old and younger MUST wear their vest - it's the law.
Until you're comfortable controlling our boat, stay away from the sides of the river and the strainers/widow makers/snags.
If you end up in the water, the best bet is to float with the current and eventually you'll be able to touch bottom. DO NOT attempt to swim upriver...you'll just exhaust yourself.
When coming into the Boscobel boat landing, take it WIDE and enter the lagoon from downriver.
When you land, please keep the concrete boat landing clear and pull your boat all the way out of the water and leave gear inside of it - we'll be down to collect it.
Land, Load, Leave - pack up your car and head home...drive safe! We want you back on the river soon!
